Kloof Conservancy runs numerous projects aimed at protecting the biodiversity of Kloof and enhancing the quality of life of residents through the improvement of the environment.
We have adopted an operational strategy which relies on our membership as a whole but requires individuals and small teams to run or contribute to various projects. In this manner broad participation is achieved with individuals contributing to one or more project as their personal schedules allow.
Projects are managed through the Projects Group discussions done mainly on-line.
The funds raised during the annual Indigenous Open Gardens Show are the prime source of funding for projects. The conservancy tries to raise funds from residents where there are direct beneficiaries of projects in specific areas such as Msinsi CCA or Memorial Park.
