The conservancy runs numerous projects aimed at protecting the biodiversity of Kloof and enhancing the quality of life of residents through the improvement of the environment.
The conservancy has adopted an operational strategy which relies on its membership as a whole but requires individuals and small teams to run or contribute to various projects. In this manner broad participation is achieved with individuals contributing to one or more project as their personal schedules allow.
Projects are managed through the Projects Group meetings which are held on a quarterly basis.
The funds raised during the annual Indigenous Open Gardens Show is the prime source of funding for projects. The conservancy tries to raise funds from residents where there are direct beneficiaries of projects in specific areas such as Msinsi CCA or Memorial Park.
